About Our Founder
After graduating with my Bachelor of Science in Marketing, I did what most new grads do—I hit the ground running in search of a job. I was attending two to four networking events a week, résumé in hand, hoping to land a role in marketing. But something unexpected happened along the way: instead of talking about traditional marketing positions, I found myself having the same kinds of conversations over and over again. Business owners were not looking for a marketing hire—they were overwhelmed by their social media.
Some did not understand the platforms. Others did not have time to create consistent content. A few had business goals but didn’t know how to align them with a social media strategy. I realized I was no longer just job hunting—I was teaching, advising, and offering real-time solutions to real business problems.
The moment it clicked for me was during a casual dinner with a family friend, who had recently moved to Florida and started a career in real estate. She mentioned that the open house had a disappointing turnout, so I asked if she had advertised it on social media. Her answer? She didn’t really have a presence online and didn’t know where to start. We sat down that night, and I gave her a breakdown of what I would do—consistent posting, clean visuals, and a strategy that made her listings more accessible. That conversation turned into my first client.
And just like that, Media By Aleah was born.
